The municipal PP service in Stange is part of a close interdisciplinary collaboration with other services in the team around children and young people, and will help to create a more inclusive learning environment for both kindergarten children and pupils in primary school. The PP service in Stange aims to be easily accessible and visible to all stakeholders. Together with the schools, we work systemically to strengthen the general educational provision so that as many pupils as possible receive help within the ordinary system.

The PP service in Stange is organized as a team in the psychological-pedagogical department of the company.

Stangehjelpa. The psychological-educational department has a total of about 25 man-years and is interdisciplinary.

Stangehjelpa's vision is: "Together we create change, meaning and community".

Stange municipality now has a vacant permanent 100% position as educational-psychological counselor in schools.

Tasks

• Support schools in their work on competence and organizational development.
• Work based on the principle "close at hand", i.e. have a high presence in schools.
• Give guidance to parents and children.
  
• Provide guidance to school staff.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with other services in the municipality.
• Be an expert body where required by law.
• Provide the necessary mapping as a basis for guidance and expert work.
• Contribute to creating a good climate of cooperation internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Supervision skills.
• Good knowledge of schools, individualized education and adapted education.
• Experience from the PP service is preferred, possibly experience from school.
• Good communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Requirement of an approved police certificate.
• Driver's license class B. Own car must be able to be used in service.

Education

• Education in pedagogy, special education, adapted education or equivalent is desirable.
• Others with other relevant education and who have experience from PPT/school will be considered.
• Testing and assessment skills are also desirable.
