Stange municipality is looking for an ambitious and strategic project manager who will lead our project department in the construction, development and management of the municipality's building stock. Here you will have key responsibility in an organization with great significance, skilled employees and a property portfolio that spans everything from kindergartens and schools to health buildings and sports facilities. We're looking for someone who wants to help drive the construction projects, the team and the real estate strategy - and who is motivated by creating lasting value for the citizens of Stange.

The real estate department manages a varied and significant real estate portfolio of over 125,000 square meters. The department is responsible for new construction, renovation, cleaning, operation and maintenance of the building stock, as well as the municipality's production kitchens, reception kitchens and canteens. In total, the property department consists of 101 man-years.

The project department consists of four full-time equivalents and is responsible for the planning, management and implementation of all the municipality's building projects. As a project manager, you will have both professional and financial responsibility for development projects, personnel responsibility for the project managers, and a place in the property department's management team.

Tasks

• Lead the project department and exercise the property manager's client responsibility in development projects
• Personal responsibility for the project managers and participation in the property department's management team
• Further develop the client role, project routines and project management tools
• Perform project manager tasks in specific construction projects
• Ensure good coordination and cooperation between projects and operations
• Contribute to political case studies in construction management

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree with relevant experience in leadership and project management
• Educational direction in construction
• Good knowledge and understanding of public procurement and related regulations
• Good understanding of finance, operation and maintenance of buildings
  
• Good leadership skills and financial understanding
  
• Good digital skills and system understanding
  
• Very good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian
• Driver's license class B
