This is a joint announcement for all apprentices in Stange municipality.

As an apprentice with us, you will have the opportunity to work in the subject you are going to take a certificate in. We will do our best to ensure that you have a good apprenticeship with us with exciting days within the profession you are going to take a trade certificate in, as well as that you get a good opportunity to further develop and use your theoretical knowledge in practice.

We are looking for apprentices in areas such as:

• Child and youth worker.
• Health worker.
• Industrial chef.
  
• IT operations.

Nursery and school:

Stange municipality has 10 municipal nurseries, 9 primary schools and 2 secondary schools. As an apprentice with us, we usually divide the apprenticeship time with start-up in kindergarten the first year and primary school the second year.

Health:

In health, we have many areas of work, such as nursing homes, care homes and home care. During your apprenticeship, we will ensure that you have practical experience in all relevant areas so that you gain as much experience as possible. Production kitchen:
As an apprentice in the production kitchen, you will learn work processes related to lunch and dinner production (cook/chill) including special diets, desserts, baking, canteen work and some meeting food/company dinners. You'll get a comprehensive insight into commercial kitchen operations at a medium-sized commercial kitchen. The production kitchen is keen to make the apprenticeship as good and varied as possible so that the apprentices want to continue in the industry. The working hours are Monday-Friday during the day.

IT operations

The work tasks are mainly within software. Tasks will include user support in various businesses within different systems. There is also a lot going on in welfare technology, and there are opportunities here to be a good contributor.

Tasks

• Tasks will mainly be related to tasks within the subject you are applying for an apprenticeship in.
  

Qualifications

• Completed and passed VG 1 and VG 2 in health subjects, children and youth, IT operations or nutrition chef.
  
• Good oral and written presentation skills.
• A police certificate must be presented before employment.
