Stange municipality has a need for four GP substitutes in 2026 related to leave at several of our medical offices. We are looking for committed and professionally confident doctors who want to contribute to good and stable medical services for the municipality's residents. The need is primarily for longer-term temporary positions, with appointment by agreement. We currently need the following:

• 100% temporary position from 01.05.2026 - 31.11.2026
• 100% temporary position from 13.07.2026 - 31.12.2026
• 100% temporary position from 10.08.2026 - 11.02.2027
• 100% temporary position from 01.06.2026 - 01.08.2027
• 20% temporary position from 09.07.2026 - 29.10.2026 at Ilseng prison

The municipality makes it possible for ALIS doctors to apply for a locum position and receive the necessary guidance and facilitation to continue specializing in general medicine.

The current candidate and home owner agree on the practical organization of operations, working methods and financial conditions during the locum period.

Tasks

• General practitioner tasks in the GP scheme.
• Follow-up of current patient list.
• Possibility of participation in municipal out-of-hours services by agreement.
• Collaboration with other municipal health services.

Qualifications

• Approved Norwegian authorization as a doctor.
• Specialist in general medicine or commenced ALIS course is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  
• Good oral and written presentation skills.
• Requirement for a valid police certificate.
