We at Stange Health and Care Center are looking for a nurse with a heart and a passion for dementia care. We have a temporary position available through April 2027. The department currently consists of assisted living units, long-term care beds in a secure unit, and short-term care beds in a secure unit. The workdays are exciting and varied, consisting of comprehensive care and support, assessments and evaluations, and a focus on environmental work.

We are proud to be one of Stange Municipality’s largest organizations, with over 100 institutional beds and 10 care homes staffed 24 hours a day. The Health and Care Center has five units divided between long-term somatic care beds and secure units for people with dementia.

At Stange Health and Care Center, we aim to set the standard for environmental therapy and person-centered care. We have solid expertise in assessment and individually tailored interventions for patients with cognitive impairment and various somatic diagnoses.

You will be part of a nursing rotation, which helps strengthen the nursing profession and the services provided. Our organization is constantly growing and evolving, and you will be an important resource in our professional environment.

• Provide and document healthcare in accordance with current requirements and legislation.
• Observations and professional assessments of patients.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license.
• Experience in dementia care is preferred.
• Strong ICT skills, and preferably familiarity with Gerica (Aidn).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid police background check must be presented before starting.
