We at Stange Health and Care Center are looking for two dedicated nurses with a heart for dementia care. We are also opening up the opportunity for social workers or health professionals with a passion for dementia care to apply. We have 2 maternity positions available until the end of 2026. We are proud to be one of Stange municipality's largest businesses, with over 100 institutional places and 10 full-time care homes. The health and care center has five departments divided into somatic long-term places and sheltered places for people with dementia.

At Stange Health and Care Center, we want to set the standard for environmental treatment and person-centered care. We have solid expertise in mapping and individually adapted measures for patients with cognitive impairment and various somatic diagnoses.

You will be part of a nursing rotation, which helps to strengthen the nursing profession and the services provided. Our organization is constantly growing and changing, and you will be an important resource in our professional environment.

Tasks

• Practice and document health care in line with current requirements and legislation.
• Observations and professional assessments of patients.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues, patients and relatives.
• Focus on activities that strengthen quality of life and bring joy to the individual service recipient
• Contribute to collaboration between departments.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Approved authorization as a nurse/nurse or professional certificate as a health worker.
• Desirable with relevant further education.
• Desirable with experience in elderly care.
• Good ICT skills, and preferably knowledge of Gerica.
• Good oral and written presentation skills.
• Police certificate must be presented before starting.
