Nedre Tømte Preschool is an 8-classroom preschool beautifully located at the bottom of Ottestad in the Nedre Tømte residential area, with many wonderful places for outings nearby. We offer a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors at the preschool. Indoors, we have various themed rooms—such as a sensory room, a climbing room, and a multipurpose room—that are used daily. We are committed to providing the children with activities and challenges tailored to their needs so that they experience a sense of accomplishment and joy. Job Responsibilities

• Responsibility and shared responsibility for planning, documentation, and assessment, as well as for carrying out educational work in accordance with the framework plan
• Responsibility and shared responsibility for organizing and leading the staff and the work in the department.
• Responsibility and shared responsibility for leading and organizing work with the children by supporting their curiosity, learning, and sense of wonder.
• Creating a positive learning environment characterized by inclusion and recognition.
• Collaborate with external professional agencies.
• Facilitate effective collaboration with parents and guardians.

Qualifications

• Approved education as a preschool teacher. For applicants with relevant education from countries other than Norway, approval of the education from the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training is required. Documentation of the approval must be included with the application.
• Experience in similar work is desirable.
  
• Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian (minimum Norwegian B level)
• A police clearance certificate must be submitted prior to employment.
