Stange municipality is facing exciting development, and we need you who want to take responsibility for the municipality's road network and contribute to safe and efficient infrastructure. As a road manager, you will be a key person in the work of ensuring good solutions for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians - all year round.

In Municipal Engineering, we now have a vacancy where the main task is the management and operation of municipal transport infrastructure. This involves following up summer and winter maintenance, both through the municipal contractor and through agreements with private contractors. The position also includes case management of work notification plans and excavation permits.

Tasks

• You have the main responsibility for the management and operation of municipal roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, pavements and street lighting.
• You follow up summer and winter maintenance, both internally and via external contractors.
• You work with traffic safety, condition plans and landscaping.
• Processing of work notification plans and excavation permits is part of everyday life.

Qualifications

• You have a relevant education at college level, or solid prior experience in road construction and management.
• Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian.

Personal qualities

• You are able to interact in planning processes and take part in the development of the infrastructure.
• You are positive and enterprising, cooperate well and have good implementation skills.
• You are able to meet residents and partners in a constructive way, and help to find good solutions.
