Hoberg School is looking for 3-4 committed and skilled workers for our school and SFO.

Hoberg School is a three-parallel primary school located in Ottestad, 4 km south of Hamar city. The school has approximately 420 pupils and an after-school program with around 180 children. More than 65 employees work to create good arenas for children's academic and social development in school and SFO. With us, you work in the classroom and on a base team in the after-school program.

In the part that constitutes the school position, you will work with children who have special needs.

We work to ensure that all children experience mastery in a safe and good learning environment characterized by play and inclusion.

Tasks

• Supervision of individual children and groups of children
• Collaboration with parents and colleagues
• Planning and carrying out activities in SFO and actively participating in the students' learning environment.
• Active participation in SFO's development work in professional learning communities, actively participate in the learning environment of the students.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate in the children's and youth worker profession or equivalent competence
• Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Experience working with children in kindergarten and/or school, and preferably working with children with special needs.
• Good oral and written presentation skills
• Good digital skills
• A recent police certificate is required upon appointment

• Good collaboration skills and an active contributor to teamwork
• Good relationship skills that are able to create security and trust in meetings with children, parents and colleagues
• You are a calm and confident caregiver who loves children
• You are motivated to work with children and contribute to an inclusive play environment
• Good physical health is necessary
