Åsbygda kindergarten is located in the hamlet of Åsbygda, northeast of Stange municipality. The kindergarten has a unique location with an exciting and varied outdoor area and beautiful woodlands, sports facilities, tobogganing and skiing opportunities within walking distance. The kindergarten is keen to give the children positive experiences in the local environment and in nature and emphasizes a safe and good kindergarten environment with a focus on play, development and good social skills.

Åsbygda kindergarten is looking for an inspiring and committed manager in 100% who wants to help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive kindergarten for our children. 30% of the position is in basic staffing in the department.

Tasks

• Daily professional and operational responsibility
• Personal responsibility, with a focus on increased attendance and a health-promoting working environment
• Be a confident leader who ensures that the kindergarten develops as a learning organization and conducts systematic and research-based quality work in collaboration with the employees.
• A visible leader who formulates goals, expectations and has good implementation skills.
• Build trust in the parent group and ensure good dialogue for the good of the child.

Qualifications

• Approved education as a kindergarten teacher.
• Preschool teacher education taken in other countries must be approved by the Directorate for Higher Education and Competence.
• Applicants with foreign education must comply with the Kindergarten Act §27 regarding requirements for Norwegian skills.
• Completed or wish to complete national board education.
  
• Good knowledge of the work field and experience from educational development work.
• Good oral and written presentation skills.
• Good ICT skills.
• An approved police certificate is required for the position.
