We need more skilled workers! We now have a vacancy for a 100% temporary position as a children's and youth worker at Arstad School.

Arstad School is located in the north of Stange, west of highway 222 on the border with Hamar, with a great view of Lake Mjøsa and wide fields. Pupils come from the urban areas of Sandvika and Bekkelaget and from scattered settlements in the western part of Stange. We have around 250 pupils in seven grades, and around 47 employees including administration, teachers, assistants, skilled workers, substitutes and interns: Together we provide good education for all in a safe environment. Tasks

• Supervision of individual children and groups of children
• Collaboration with parents and colleagues
• Planning and carrying out activities in SFO and actively participating in the students' learning environment.
• Active participation in SFO's development work in professional learning communities, actively participate in the learning environment of the students.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate in the children's and youth worker profession or equivalent competence
• Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Experience and competence in working with students who have a disruptive behavior
• Experience working with children in kindergarten and/or school, and preferably working with children with special needs.
• Good oral and written presentation skills
• Good digital skills
• A recent police certificate is required upon appointment

• Good collaboration skills and an active contributor to teamwork
• Good relationship skills that are able to create security and trust in meetings with children, parents and colleagues
• You are a calm and confident caregiver who loves children
• You are motivated to work with children and contribute to an inclusive play environment
• Good physical health is necessary
