This is a joint job posting for those interested in working as on-call substitutes in Stange Municipality.

At Stangeskolen, we regularly need on-call substitute teachers for short- and long-term assignments, both in schools, after-school programs, and our adult education program for foreign-language speakers who need Norwegian language instruction and adults who need elementary school-level education.

• For schools and adult education, we primarily seek applicants with an approved or ongoing teacher training program.
• For after-school programs , we primarily seek applicants with a vocational certificate in child and youth work.
• Although relevant education is preferred, it is not a requirement.

Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities may vary by school and at the after-school program (SFO), but a general overview is as follows:

• Teaching.
  
• Monitoring students’ academic and social development.
• As a substitute teacher at the Åkershagan Education and Activity Center, they need substitutes who can guide, facilitate, and assist with activities for people with disabilities. 
• You may be assigned to different grade levels and various tasks.

Qualifications

• Relevant education as a teacher or skilled worker is preferred; alternatively, you may be enrolled in a teacher training program or hold a vocational certificate.
• We also encourage students in teacher training or child and youth work programs to apply.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience teaching or working with children and youth is an advantage.
• Competence and experience using digital tools in work with children, such as tablets, are desirable.
• Valid police clearance certificate.
