Accountant for Stegra in Stockholm or Boden

About the role

We are in an intensive development phase where we are building and refining our processes in parallel with the growth of the business. As part of our accounting team, you will work broadly within accounting and financial statement work and you will be involved in developing and streamlining the company's finance function. The role also involves being a key contact between accounting, business control and other parts of the business to ensure accurate accounting, management and analysis of costs and variances. We value both specialist knowledge and collaboration, which means that you will have your own responsibilities while supporting each other in the team.

The role can be based in Stockholm or Boden.

Your main duties include:

  • Running accounts, reconciliations and accruals

  • Monthly accounts and reporting

  • VAT reconciliation and declaration

  • Prepare documentation for annual report and audit

  • Support in internal projects such as system changes and accounting investigations

  • Participate and drive in developing, improve and document procedures and processes within the finance function

Who are you?

We also see that you:

  • Have a financial degree or equivalent experience in accounting

  • Have 5-10 years of work experience in similar roles

  • Have a good understanding of the entire accounting workflow

  • Have experience from system change and have a great system interest (experience in SAP S4/Hana is meritorious)

  • Have good knowledge of excel

  • Have good knowledge of K3 (IFRS is meritorious)

  • Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing (Stegra's working language is English)

  • You have the opportunity to travel to Boden once a month if you are based in Stockholm
