What you’ll do

Right now, we are looking for a Electrical Operations Lead for our Energy & Power Distribution team. In this role you will report to our Head of Energy & Power Distribution and sit within our Mill Services function.

We’re looking for someone to take the lead on all things electrical at our Boden site - ensuring systems run safely, smoothly, and efficiently. In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, guide a skilled team, and serve as the go-to expert for electrical installations. If you're passionate about making an impact through smart, safe infrastructure and want to be part of something meaningful, this could be your next step.

Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.

  • Take the lead as the authorized supervisor for electrical installations, ensuring safety and compliance across the site.
  • Drive smart, safe operations by developing clear safety procedures and making sure all team members and contractors are properly trained.
  • Keep our power flowing - coordinate inspections, maintenance, and day-to-day electrical operations to avoid disruptions.
  • Collaborate with external partners and oversee high-voltage power contracts, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Champion reliability and cost-effectiveness, leading improvement efforts and resolving technical issues with confidence.
  • Make sure everything is in place - from up-to-date diagrams to proper documentation - to support a safe and well-managed electrical system.

What you’ll bring

You’re curious and believe that real progress happens when we work together. You’re not afraid to challenge old ways of thinking - and you treat others with respect while doing it. At Stegra, we value people who take initiative, build trust, and help create a workplace where everyone can do their best.

Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below:

  •  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical power engineering, and either hold (or can obtain) a valid Auktorisation A for high-voltage work in Sweden.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role, you're confident navigating both technical challenges and safety regulations.
  • Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
  • Experience in low to high voltage systems, and well-versed in Swedish electrical safety laws and European directives.
  • Comfortable leading on-site work, you’ve managed contractors, overseen safety responsibilities, and worked with SCADA and protection systems.
  • You bring a calm, solution-oriented mindset, even in high-pressure situations, always putting safety and efficiency first.
  • Organized, proactive, and a strong communicator - you work well on your own and thrive in cross-functional teams.
