Health and Safety Engineer - Direct Reduction Plant (DRP)
The Health and Safety Engineer is the representative of the Health and Safety department in the individual operating units at our Boden location. They support the assurance of health and safe and effective operations in all areas and facilities in the organization.
We are now recruiting a Health and Safety Engineer for the Direct Reduction Plant (DRP). In our Boden plant, a towering 145-meter direct reduction tower is under construction, and will soon transform iron ore into sponge iron. In this process we will cut CO₂ emissions and enable a cleaner, greener approach to iron production. The DRP will be groundbreaking in multiple aspects. We aim to have a world class production and safety crew working with this process.
As a Health and Safety Engineer in the DRP you'll be part of a team who will set up the processes and guidelines for the health and safety work before the production starts. During production you'll work together with the operating personnel and managers to ensure that work safety always comes first.
Since the reduction of iron is quite a new process in Sweden we're very open to candidates who has previous experience within health and safety but from other fields of work, such as oil & gas, energy, hydrogen, pulp or similar areas.
