As a Process Operator in our Direct Reduction (DRI) plant, you are responsible for ensuring that production is run safely, efficiently and to quality. The work involves operating and monitoring equipment, contributing to the smooth flow of production and collaborating with colleagues in the team. You will help ensure we meet our goals while following safety procedures in a physically active work environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Operating and monitoring equipment such as Centrifugal/Screw compressors, fans, dryers, screens, conveyors and pumps according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor and evaluate equipment performance to ensure optimal and continuous operation.
  • Record and upload field readings into a central computer system as required.
  • Identify and report equipment anomalies and take corrective action in accordance with SOPs.
  • Maintain high standards of orderliness in the production area for a clean and efficient working environment.
  • Support the maintenance team in case of downtime or equipment breakdowns to enable quick recovery and minimize production loss.

    We are looking for you who have:

    • An interest in or developing experience in heavy industrial production.
    • Experience with mechanical equipment and process monitoring is an advantage.
    • The most important thing is that you have a high safety mindset. Experience in environments with strict safety requirements is an advantage.
    • High school diploma or equivalent education in the relevant field is desirable.
    • Good knowledge of English, both oral and written. Swedish is meritorious.
