As a Process Operator in our hydrogen plant, you ensure the safe and efficient production of hydrogen through electrolysis. Your day begins with reviewing shift logs and checking the electrolyzer system for proper operation—monitoring voltage, current, pressure, and water levels via the control system. You continuously monitor the process, perform routine checks, and read instruments across the plant during regular rounds. You ensure the ultra-pure water supply remains stable, take water and chemical samples for lab testing, and respond promptly to any alarms or process deviations. You also monitor gas purity, perform safety checks on valves, pressure gauges, and piping, and coordinate with maintenance when needed. Accurate logging and clear communication during shift handovers are key parts of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor electrolyzer systems and supporting equipment

• Perform continuous process monitoring, routine checks, and plant rounds

• Read and log data from instruments throughout the facility

• Ensure supply and quality of ultra-pure water to the electrolysis unit

• Perform safety checks on valves, pressure gauges, and piping

• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot operational issues

• Document process data, incidents, and shift activities accurately

• Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams during interventions

• Follow environmental, health, and safety (EHS) procedures rigorously

The ability to follow strict safety and quality standards is essential, and candidates should be comfortable working with computerized control systems in a structured environment.
