About us:

H2 Green Steel aims to transform the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the ultimate goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal, water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tons of green steel per year in our fully integrated, digitalized and sustainable plant in Boden in northern Sweden - currently under construction.

Stegra is looking for a Warehouse and Workshop Manager to lead the team responsible for developing and implementing Stegra warehouse and workshop strategies in Boden. Reporting to the Head of Mill Services, our Warehouse and Workshop Manager is instrumental in shaping and streamlining warehouse operations, with a focus on digitalization and automation to drive efficiency. The Warehouse and Workshop Manager plays a pivotal role in establishing new ways of working, especially by creating an efficient, digitized warehouse management system integrated with automated purchasing processes.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Create and implement inventory management strategies, including:
  • Develop strategy for spare parts and repairs.
  • Financial reporting of inventory values.
  • Inventory management and maintenance. .
  • Involvement in CMMS.
  • Management of receptions and logistics.

  • Overse warehouse contracts.
  • Develop workshop strategies and manage workshop contracts. Collaborate closely with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Manage budgeting and financial follow-up.
  • Qualifications:

    • Experience in similar role in heavy industry.
    • Experience in purchasing, projects, start-ups or commissioning.
    • Good experience in working with various stakeholders. Experience with ISO systems 9001/14001/45001.
    • Be a role model to promote a strong safety culture

    • Expertise in maintenance as a process and strategies to improve reliability and availability.
