Within the Water and Wastewater region in Gothenburg, we are a team of about 90 consultants who work daily on water and wastewater issues. The Wastewater Systems group in Gothenburg consists of about 10 people with great drive and a willingness to take responsibility. As part of Sweco, you’ll be part of a skilled team of about 600 colleagues specializing in Water & Wastewater.

Your Future Role

As a consultant or project manager with us, you’ll play a vital role in our team and our projects. As a consultant with us, you’ll work on projects as well as support and mentor junior colleagues.

Currently, we offer our clients services in water and wastewater studies and hydraulic modeling. We often work in the early stages, assessing the conditions for the client’s future investments. The team also leads development projects and projects in the environmental field. We frequently collaborate with other engineering disciplines such as streets/roads, landscape architecture, and geotechnical engineering.

Your Experience

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in water engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Have several years of experience in water and wastewater investigations, feasibility studies, or hydraulic modeling of pipeline systems, as well as working with Mike+ or similar tools.
• Express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in your daily work.

Desirable:

• Previous experience as a project manager or team leader in the water and wastewater sector.
• Experience with GIS and CAD.
• An interest in programming and experience with, for example, Python
