Why work with us?

We work actively, both within the region and nationally, to ensure that Sweco's environmental consultants continue to be a strong player in natural environment and ecology. We offer a challenging, developing leadership role with great personal impact where you get the opportunity to contribute to Sweco's environmental consultants continuing to be a strong player in Västerbotten County and the surrounding area. You have the opportunity to make your mark on a business that today works broadly in terrestrial, aquatic and marine environments. At Sweco we invest in you as a leader and there are many opportunities for leadership development and support to give you good conditions for leading and developing your group. As group manager, you will be part of the regional management team Environment North, which is characterized by an open and supportive climate where managers care about each other and work together to develop our business.

You will also work closely with managers and employees in other regions and divisions within Sweco. We are a flexible workplace where you have great freedom and the opportunity to manage your time. We are committed to a sustainable working life where we thrive, develop and have fun at work.

About Sweco's environmental consultants in Västerbotten

The range of services is broad and includes everything from strategic advice to support at our clients' sites. We offer services linked to permit processes under the Environmental Code, investigations in biodiversity and restoration, compensation measures and species-specific inventories.

In Västerbotten, there are three other environmental groups specializing in environmental assessments and permits, contaminated areas and acoustics with which we work closely.

The group has a good atmosphere and a great deal of commitment. They are driven by the desire to help build a more sustainable society and have good contact with our customers. Today, the group is about 14 people who all care about each other and want to contribute with their skills. We currently have employees in Umeå and Örnsköldsvik and would like you to be based in one of these Sweco offices, but other locations may also be relevant.

The group has a breadth of expertise and can therefore, together with their colleagues, meet our customers' needs in all areas linked to the natural environment and ecology.

Our assignments are located throughout Sweden, but with an extra focus in the northern part and based in Västerbotten. As the leader of our environmental consultants, you will be responsible for developing our business and continuing our growth journey. You will have a wide network of colleagues throughout the country and have the opportunity to develop both personally and in terms of competence in the areas you have experience and interest in.
