Your future role

As a procurement expert in international projects, you will work in internationally funded district heating projects, combining technical expertise with experience in procurement, contracts and training. You will support our customers and partners in Ukraine in planning, procuring and implementing investments in district heating and energy facilities.

You will use your technical knowledge of district heating production and distribution and your understanding of the Ukrainian infrastructure sector to provide advice, quality assurance and skills transfer in the projects.

The role involves responsibility for:

• Leading and participating as a senior expert in procurement and energy projects in Ukraine.
• Support clients and local stakeholders in tenders and contracts.
• Ensure technical quality of district heating production and distribution solutions.
• Plan and conduct training related to procurement and technology.

The person we are looking for - is it you?

We are looking for you who have a solid background in district heating and energy infrastructure, and who are used to working in complex, internationally funded projects. You will thrive in a consultative role combining technical issues with procurement, contracts and training.

We are looking for you who have:

Many years of experience working in leadership or key roles in internationally funded district heating projects in Ukraine.

• Proven experience in procurement and contracting, preferably linked to international financiers/development banks.
• Good technical knowledge of district heating production and distribution facilities
• Experience working in Ukraine in companies in the infrastructure sector - for example district heating, water or sewage.
• Fluent in Ukrainian and English, and good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have experience in planning and conducting trainings in procurement, contracts or technical areas, and if you have previously worked in an international consulting environment.

You are committed, deliver quality in your work and have a good ability to adapt when conditions change.

The place of employment is Helsingborg and the position may involve travel to Ukraine.
