The Institute for Space Physics (IRF) is now looking for an economist who wants to contribute to our activities.
As a financial manager at IRF, you have a central role in the business. You work closely with researchers, project managers and management and support both daily financial management and long-term planning.
Duties
As Chief Financial Officer, you have an overall responsibility to lead, coordinate and develop the finance function within the agency. You will work both strategically and operationally on all financial matters. Your main tasks will include budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, day-to-day accounting and some contractual issues. You will be part of the management team and report directly to the Director-General.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an appropriate academic background. You should also have experience in advanced financial work.
It is an advantage if you have experience as a financial manager. It is also advantageous if you have good knowledge of the Agresso financial system.
As a person, you are independent, flexible, analytical, structured and have a pedagogical ability to translate numbers into words in an easy-to-understand way. You enjoy working in an operational environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
It is important to be able to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish.
Terms and conditions
The position, located at the head office in Kiruna, is a permanent full-time position. Access to the position is by agreement.
