The Institute of Space Physics (IRF) is a leading research institute in the field of planetary magnetospheres and solar wind interactions
We are looking for a researcher in experimental space plasma physics with a focus on flight instruments for particle measurements on planetary and magnetospheric missions.
The selected candidate will be part of the successful Solar System Physics and Space Technology program (SSPT) research team at IRF. The group actively conducts research on the solar system by developing instruments for space missions, analyzing data, and performing computer simulations.

Qualifications
Applicants should have a PhD in space plasma physics.
The position requires:
Experience in analysis of space particle data and operation of space instruments is a merit.
The applicant should be able to work independently. As we have extensive international collaborations, good cooperation and social skills are required.
Terms and conditions
The position is located in Kiruna and is a permanent position. The nature of the tasks requires physical presence to be carried out.
