Do you want to be part of a team of talented engineers in an international environment? We are currently looking for an Aviation Safety Engineer for our team who works with balloons and rockets. YOUR ROLE

Flight safety engineer is a varied and developing role where you will work with both preparations before and operationally during rocket and balloon campaigns. In the role of flight safety engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that we carry out safe campaigns where you assist the organization with your knowledge in safety. Among other things, you will work with risk analyses, risk calculations and safety analyses, as well as calculate flight paths for rockets and balloons. You will participate in customer meetings where you inform and update customers about the current situation in terms of risks and security.

  • You have a civil engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • You thrive in an environment where your analytical skills come into their own and enjoy working with statistical outcomes
  • As we operate in an international environment, you have good communicative skills in both English and Swedish
  • We attach great importance to your personal qualities, your drive and commitment to learn and develop with us.


We offer permanent employment 40h/week. During ongoing rocket and balloon campaigns, you will be scheduled outside of normal business hours. Travel and work in another location may occur depending on our campaigns and customers' wishes.

You will be located at Esrange/Kiruna.
