Do you want to be part of creating history in Swedish Space Industry? In the near future we will launch satellites from Esrange outside of Kiruna in the North of Sweden. Now there is a unique opportunity for you to join the establishment and operation of the orbital launch capability as well as partake in our testbed activities.


As an RF Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, integration, and upkeep of RF systems utilized in spaceport services and as a launch service provider. Your role will involve designing, testing, and refining various components of radio frequency systems, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, and amplifiers. Additionally, you'll utilize modeling and simulation techniques to forecast the performance of RF systems in real-world environments.

Example of work tasks:

  • Testing and debugging: perform tests and troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve issues in the RF system.
  • Collaborating with other teams: work closely with other engineers, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to ensure that RF systems are integrated and function properly.
  • Analyzing data and providing recommendations: analyze test data and provide recommendations for improving the performance and reliability of RF systems.
  • Staying up to date with new technologies: keep abreast of advancements in RF technology and incorporate these new technologies into the work
  • Providing technical support: RF engineers provide technical support to customers and other team members to ensure that RF systems operate correctly and efficiently.
  • Operational and maintenance management of RF systems

We also believe you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Effective operational proficiency in the English language.
  •  3-5 years of experience in RF
  • Experience within the space industry is an advantage.
