We want to become more! The Swerim Metals Research Institute conducts industry-oriented research and development on metals and their path from raw material to finished product. The Metal Research Institute Swerim is now looking for a dedicated manager for the Materials Analysis and Process Monitoring group. Materials Analysis and Process Monitoring The group conducts industry-related research and development in materials analysis, sensor technology and process monitoring. For example, we develop and implement advanced measurement methods and analyzes for industrial environments, with a focus on strengthening the industry's technological height and competitiveness. Our projects often aim to develop non-destructive and non-contact technologies, as well as to develop sensors, measurement methods and data analysis to enable digital transformation and sustainable industry. We collaborate with some of Sweden's largest metal-producing companies and participate in both national and European research projects. Your tasks * Lead and develop the group towards set goals * Responsible for business planning, budget and results * Drive change and development work within the department * Ensure high quality in deliveries and projects * Build and develop relationships with customers, partners and other groups * Contribute to an inclusive work environment We are looking for you who * Have proven leadership experience, preferably in research, technology or industry * Are communicative, responsive and have the ability to inspire and engage others * Have a relevant academic education * Used to working strategically and results-oriented * Previous experience in leading or participating in interdisciplinary research projects or industry-academia collaborations Merits * Experience from research or development projects in materials analysis, sensor technology or process monitoring * Previous work in an international environment * Interest in sustainability and digitalization We offer * An exciting and developing role in a dynamic company * The opportunity to influence and contribute to the future of Swedish industry * Competent and committed colleagues * Flexible working methods and good benefits Are you interested?
