About the position Swerim conducts research in close collaboration with world-leading manufacturers and users of high-performance metallic materials. In the Materials Development business area, we work both with the development of materials and the testing of their properties in various applications. Duties and responsibilities The group you will belong to in this role currently consists of 11 people and is responsible for, among other things, the measurement of physical properties such as thermal and electrical properties, which usually involves method development to be able to measure properties under specific conditions. One area under construction is the development of test methodology for testing and evaluating electrical high-current contacts for the automotive industry, another is the evaluation of graphene sensors. The projects vary in length and size, ranging from smaller projects of a few weeks up to 5-10 years.
