We want to become more! The Swerim Metals Research Institute conducts industry-oriented research and development on metals and their path from raw material to finished product. We are 200 employees in two locations in Sweden - Luleå and Stockholm. Our vision is a fossil-free and circular industry. . Do you want to work in Northern Europe's largest resource for joining technology research? At Swerim's Center for Joining & Structures, you will work with all joining technologies and be involved in developing the sustainable, resilient and circular solutions of the future - together with industry. About the position We conduct applied research in close collaboration with Swedish and international industry in areas such as infrastructure, automotive and materials technology. As a project manager with us, you lead everything from shorter assignments to larger research projects - always with a focus on industrial benefits. You will work in a modern lab environment together with dedicated colleagues and have access to expert support in material characterization, corrosion and mechanical testing. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you who have: * Several years of project management experience in joining or welding * Master of Science in Engineering or PhD in relevant field * Good communication skills in both Swedish and English * Experience in application work for public funding (meritorious) * Teaching experience, e.g. as a trainer or tutor (meritorious) You are curious, committed and have your own drive. You are used to collaboration, enjoy working both operationally and strategically - and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.
