About 30 people work in the Pilot and Demo business area in Luleå. We rebuild and adapt our facility to suit the customer's conditions and develop processes on a scale that makes them transferable to the customer's manufacturing processes. About the work For the experimental halls in Luleå, we are now looking for a committed and self-motivated technician/operator/mechanic. In the experimental halls there is, among other things, an electric arc furnace, converter, induction furnaces and several specially built units through assignments from industrial ventures. We who work in the business area are primarily technicians with various specialist skills, operators, mechanics, industrial electricians, instrument engineers and process engineers. Main duties * Prepare and participate in the implementation of pilot trials in both new and existing pilot facilities. * Maintenance of existing pilot facilities and properties. * Manage and control existing and new experimental equipment on a small and large scale. * Participate in the construction of new process facilities. We are looking for you with at least a high school education in industrial technology or equivalent. Merit is operator experience in the process industry, experience of mechanical work, experience of traverse driving and a practical hand. Experience of working in heavy industry is also advantageous, as we mainly operate in the metallurgical industry. You are meticulous, structured, quality-conscious and ensure that all work at our facilities is carried out in a safe manner. Furthermore, you are responsible, can prioritize work effectively and have experience of working based on applicable laws and regulations. The position is a full-time permanent position and the location is in Luleå. Travel is included (but not frequent) in the service and it is a requirement that you hold a driver's license. Shift work occurs, during limited periods.
