Your role in our team

We are looking for you who have experience in accounting and who enjoy taking a holistic approach - both operationally and strategically. With us, you will have a key role in the accounting team, where you are involved in driving the work forward together with committed colleagues.

You will work with monthly, interim and annual accounts, and be involved in streamlining the accounting processes for the entire group. We would like to see that you have an eye for improvement and want to be involved in developing our systems, tools and working methods.

The role also includes managing reporting to auditors, authorities and other external stakeholders - and ensuring that documentation, routines and backup are of high quality.

We believe that you are confident in your skills, like to collaborate and are happy to share your knowledge. You will have great responsibility, but also great opportunity to influence and contribute to our continued development.

You will be an important part of a committed team that always puts Umeå first. Your closest colleagues work within the finance team.

To succeed in the role, you need: 

• Post-secondary education in finance and a few years of experience in the field.
• Very good knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
• An understanding of VAT and tax rules. 
• Very good knowledge of financial and business systems and MS Excel.

It is a plus if you also: 

• Experience in management and development work in financial and business systems. 
• Experience with the business system IFS and Wolters Kluwer's Capego software. 
• Experience with RPA.
