As Product Manager Network Infrastructure, you will have a central role in developing the passive infrastructure in our city network. You will be responsible for developing the business around the infrastructure, focusing on profitability, pricing, life cycle and long-term development. You work closely with the technology, project and operations organization and contribute to developing business models, forms of ownership and working methods that strengthen the value of the city network for both customers and society.
Your role in our team In the role of Product Manager, you are responsible for the whole of the product area, from strategic development and requirements setting to follow-up, improvement and long-term management. You drive the product area's development from a business, technology and life cycle perspective and ensure that the infrastructure is developed in a robust, scalable and businesslike way. The role will include:
Drive the development of the network infrastructure product area in line with strategy, business and business objectives.
Responsible for budget, pricing, business models and profitability monitoring.
Identify new business opportunities based on market, customer needs and technology development.
Be a requirement setter for technology, IT, projects and operations and develop working methods and digital support for network infrastructure planning, documentation and management.
Monitor utilization, performance and quality and contribute to procurement, supplier dialogues and partnerships. You will be part of our broadband business, working closely with colleagues in engineering, projects, operations and business.
This is what we are looking for in you
We are looking for you to combine a technical understanding of network infrastructure with a strong business perspective. You see how technical conditions, investments and business logic are connected and can translate that into development that creates long-term value. To succeed in the role, we want you to have:
university education in engineering, economics, IT or equivalent competence through work experience
experience in business or product development in fiber infrastructure, urban networks, telecom or similar
experience in calculations, pricing and profitability monitoring
It is meritorious if you also have:
experience in dark fiber, ducting or other infrastructure rental
ability to work at the intersection of engineering, business and projects
experience from municipal city network or infrastructure company
good understanding of network planning and documentation systems
