Your role in our team

As a Construction Manager with us, you will:

Plan and lead projects from start to finish. You are responsible for ensuring that projects within our electricity network are carried out according to plan, that resources are booked and that the work follows both time frames and budgets. You keep in regular contact with the project engineer and ensure that everything is documented and followed up.

Contribute to the functioning of everyday life for Umeå residents. By coordinating fitters, contractors and machine resources, you ensure that the electricity network is expanded and maintained in a safe and sustainable way. Your work means that households, companies and community functions in Umeå can rely on the electricity always being there when it is needed.

Have a varied and practical everyday life. One day you can hold a safety round or a risk analysis, the next day follow up a TA plan or have a dialogue with the municipality about permits. You are often out in the field close to both colleagues and contractors, which means that you quickly see the results of your work and get a varied working day.

You will be an important part of a committed team that always puts Umeå first. Your closest colleagues work as project engineers in distribution networks.

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

• Work experience from construction and civil engineering.
• Leadership background, regardless of area.

• B-driving license.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

It is a plus if you also:

• Post-secondary education with a focus on energy / electricity / electric power or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.
• Experience in electrical work, such as electrician, automation technician, electrical engineer or signal technician.
• Worked as a designer, construction manager, project manager or supervisor.
• Knowledge of construction law and experience in managing construction works.
• Good knowledge of EBR and ESA.
• Experience in construction work environment coordination BAS-P/U.
• Knowledge of computer systems such as Digpro, IFS, CAD and Gröft design.
