Your role in our team

As an Elkrafts engineer with us, you will:

• Work with regional grids, distribution substations, power transformers and control equipment for high and medium voltage facilities.
• Collaborate with other technical specialists, project managers and suppliers as well as industry organizations linked to technical development and technical guidelines.

You will be an important part of a dedicated team that always puts Umeå first. You will work closely with your five electric power colleagues and be part of Team Technology & Security where we work with security issues, technology, IT / OT and system management

To succeed in the role, you need: 

• High school education with a focus on electric power or education that we consider equivalent.

Personal qualities

We believe that you have a natural ability to take initiative in the daily work where you see development potential and can act as a problem solver where you are needed. You are happy to collaborate with others and can adapt to circumstances that require flexibility.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

It is a plus if you also: 

• Worked with projects in regional networks.
• Experience from the electric power industry.
• Experience of NIS systems (Digpro or equivalent)
