Your Role
Your workdays as an electrical technician begin with a morning meeting with your colleagues. Afterward, you’ll carry out tasks according to the schedule, reprioritizing as needed. You will document the changes made in our documentation system. The majority of your day-to-day work takes place in the field. You will interact with customers, suppliers, sales representatives, and technical maintenance staff at suppliers. You will have significant opportunities to plan and manage your own work. On-call duty is part of the position. Your responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting, including corrective actions, design, and commissioning.
Documentation and preventive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation installations.
Work in our substations, maintenance of motors and variable frequency drives.
Calibration and maintenance of electrical field equipment and sensors.
Participation in project work.
Requirements for the position:
You have a degree in electrical engineering, from the Electrical and Energy Program or another equivalent program.
You currently work as an electrician in the industrial sector or as a service technician and want to advance your career.
Class B driver’s license.
We consider it a plus if you have:
several years of experience performing similar duties in the industrial sector or as a service technician.
knowledge of high-voltage work, switchgear, motors, and variable-frequency drives.
