Your role:

Umeå's sustainable development requires long-term and careful planning. Now you have the opportunity to become an important part of community planning, where in the role of facility developer for the regional network you ensure urban development, enable climate change through electrification and create the conditions for future industrial establishments in Umeå.

As a facilities developer within the regional network, you lead the long-term coordination of our projects and investment plans, to ensure that our facilities are equipped for the future and meet establishment needs. You are responsible for development, investment, reinvestment and liquidation of fixed assets, as well as drawing up management plans and assessing investment needs based on risk.

Through your ability to work structured and your willingness to contribute to development, you will be a key player in our organization.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Development of the electricity grid in accordance with societal developments and regulatory requirements in close collaboration with our analysts.

- To meet investment volumes by utilizing both traditional and innovative solutions, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.

- Maintain long-term investment plans to provide stakeholders with clarity and the right conditions.

- Responsible for the budget process related to investments within the regional network.

- Translate project ideas into concrete project directives and ensure that they are implemented effectively.

To succeed in the role you have:

- University engineering education with a relevant focus for the position or several years of work experience in similar assignments.

- Good communicative skills in Swedish and English.
