As head of the Network Infrastructure business unit, you report to the Business Manager Broadband and will have overall responsibility for the development of our fiber network that spans the entire municipality. You step into a central role where you are part of the management team and lead a unit that actively contributes to both strategic and operational development of the broadband business.

Your role in our team

In the role of Head of Network Infrastructure, you have the ultimate responsibility for our fiber network and the infrastructure that enables our offerings in the market. You will have full staff responsibility for the unit's employees as well as budget, revenue and profit responsibility. Your main responsibilities include:

• Leadership and Development: Leading, coaching and developing the employees to build a strong thriving team delivering high quality and availability

• Operation and Planning: Ensuring that the fiber network is developed and maintained with high operational reliability, as well as being responsible for long-term investment and reinvestment planning and ensuring sustainable and cost-effective ownership of the network infrastructure.

• Business acumen and sustainability: Run the business in a business-like manner with customer satisfaction and sustainability as key elements, and identify new technical and commercial opportunities in the development of new products and services

• Projects and security:Initiate and lead major development projects and develop routines for risk analysis, incident management and compliance

Collaborate: Lead the collaboration with other units within the broadband business and other departments within Umeå Energi, as well as external partners and other network owners in the industry

As a leader, you take responsibility by giving clear direction, showing courage in decisions and being close to your employees in everyday life. We are looking for a business leader with the ability to structure and prioritize in a complex technical environment. To succeed in the role, we look for you to have:

• Academic degree in engineering, business or equivalent experience, or many years of experience with equivalent skills

• Domain knowledge from the contracting, telecom or IT industry

• Experience in developing business with profit and loss responsibility

• Multiple years of experience in human resource management and change management

• Strong communication skills and habit of collaborating across functions

• B- Driving license
