Your role in our team

As a Maintenance Technician with us, you will:

- Prepare, plan and perform preventive and remedial maintenance on our production facilities. - Contribute to the safe and stable supply of district heating and cooling to households and businesses throughout Umeå - all year round. - Work closely with both colleagues and external actors, such as suppliers and installers, where you together solve problems and keep production running - regardless of weather or season.

The role of Maintenance Technician is within the Infrastructure business area, which includes the production, sale and distribution of district heating and district cooling within Umeå municipality. The position is located at Dåva and includes standby duty. You will be an important part of a dedicated team that always puts Umeå first.

Our business regularly adapts to meet legal requirements and changes in the industry. This means that our tools and ways of working sometimes change, and so do your tasks. These changes are the basis for broad skills development.

- Have a workshop technical education at upper secondary level or equivalent experience that has given you the right tools in the toolbox.

- Are reliable, honest and contribute to a good team spirit at work.

- Have a B driving license.

It is a plus if you also have:

- Experience of similar tasks from industry

- Experience of hydraulics

- Experience of pumps

- Experience of the maintenance system IFS
