As we have a retirement departure, we are now looking for you who want to work at the operations center at Elnät (shift work) where you will work with the operation and monitoring of the electricity network. You will be part of a team that together with you consists of 12 people, of which 7 are shift-working operating engineers.

Your mission We are responsible for a long-term sustainable electricity network with high supply availability, which includes everything from planning and construction to production, operation and maintenance. An electricity network that is actually one of the best and most reliable in Sweden, which we are of course proud of!

In the role you will:

• Be switching manager at voltage level 130-0.4kV
• Work with operational monitoring
• Manage operational disturbances and act as switching manager in Elnät's operations center and direct staff working in the field.
• Work with outage planning (plan for outages) in connection with fault rectification, investment and maintenance work in our electricity network.
• Work with alarm management
• Create operating orders
• Work with exchange of evidence
• Receive fault reports.

You have many interfaces, such as external customers, operation centers in nearby distribution areas and you will also work closely within the team and with other teams within Umeå Energi.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Theoretical background corresponding to a university engineer with a focus on electric power/electricity/energy  alt. education together with work experience that we consider relevant
• Fluent knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills
• B-driving license.
