Your role in our team

As an Operations Technician with us, you will:

• Monitor and control our heating and cooling systems in real time - you ensure that production runs smoothly and that our facilities deliver according to plan - around the clock, all year round.
• Ensure that Umeå's district heating and cooling reaches where it should - with the right temperature and high delivery reliability for our customers
• Work closely with both technology and colleagues - you follow up on operational status, handle error reports and actively contribute to improvements in our facilities.

You will be an important part of a committed team that always puts Umeå first. Your closest colleagues work with the operation, maintenance and development of our energy systems - and you get to be in an industry that is constantly evolving.

To succeed in the role, you need:

•  Operational technician education in power and heat or other higher education education education/experience that is considered equivalent
• B-driving license
• Have a good collaborative ability
• Good flexibility
• Be analytical

It is a plus if you also:;

• Have experience working with cogeneration and pressurized devices
• Have worked with control systems such as ABB 800XA, Siemens and/or Schneider
