Your role in our team

As an operations technician with us, you will:

• Perform operations and maintenance work for our production facilities - with a focus on safety, efficiency and stable operation.
• Contribute to ensuring that Umeå residents have a secure and sustainable energy supply by controlling and optimizing our technical processes.
• Work with varied tasks such as adjusting water chemistry, troubleshooting equipment and conducting rounds - often in close collaboration with colleagues from different teams.

You will be an important part of a committed team that always puts Umeå first. Your closest colleagues work in the operation, maintenance and development of our energy systems, where solution focus and collaboration are at the center.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• Operational technician education or equivalent education/work experience that is considered equivalent.
• Good language skills in Swedish.
• B-driving license.
• Good analytical skills.
• Take initiative.
• Be able to work independently as well as in a group.

It is a plus if you also: 

• Have experience from the power or process industry
• Knowledge of IFS
• Have worked with control systems such as;ABB 800XA, for real
