As an Operations Technician with us, you’ll:

• Monitor and control our heating and cooling systems in real time—you’ll ensure that production runs smoothly and that our facilities deliver according to plan—24 hours a day, year-round.

• Ensure that Umeå’s district heating and cooling reach their intended destinations—at the right temperature and with high delivery reliability for our customers

• Work closely with both technology and colleagues – you’ll monitor operational status, handle trouble tickets, and actively contribute to improvements at our facilities.

You’ll be an important part of a dedicated team that always puts Umeå first. Your immediate colleagues work with the operation, maintenance, and development of our energy systems—and you’ll be part of an industry that’s constantly evolving.

• A degree in power and heating operations technology or other college education/experience deemed equivalent

• A Class B driver’s license

• Strong teamwork skills

• Good flexibility

• Analytical mindset

• Have experience working with combined heat and power (CHP) production and pressurized equipment

• Have worked with control systems such as ABB 800XA, Siemens, and/or Schneider
