We are looking for a facility developer who wants to be involved in developing Umeå together with us

Umeå's sustainable development is based on long-term thinking and consideration. As a facility developer in the regional network, you will be part of that work - where we together create the conditions for a safe, sustainable and growing Umeå. Here you will contribute to the climate transition through electrification, support new establishments and ensure that the Umeå of the future has the infrastructure it needs.

Together with a colleague, you are responsible for the long-term coordination of our projects and investment plans. You ensure that our facilities are equipped for the future, that ideas become concrete projects and that we can meet Umeå's needs in a sustainable way. You will work closely with colleagues with different skills, as well as partners and suppliers - because we achieve the best results when we do it together. With your commitment, you will be an important part of an organization that builds for the whole of Umeå, by the people of Umeå, for the people of Umeå.

Your responsibilities include:

• Develop the electricity grid in line with societal development and regulatory requirements in close collaboration with analysts and other functions
• Find both proven and innovative solutions to meet investment volumes - always with a focus on sustainability and efficiency
• Establish and maintain long-term investment plans that provide clarity and right conditions for all stakeholders
• Responsible for the budget process linked to investments in the regional network
• Translate ideas into project directives and follow up that the projects are implemented effectively in close dialogue with the project organization

The content of the service can be adapted based on your experience and area of interest.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• High school or civil engineering education with a relevant focus for the position or several years of work experience in similar assignments.
• Good communication skills.
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
• B-driving license

We are looking for you who enjoy working closely with colleagues in different competencies and creating good relationships with external suppliers and partners.
