Your role in our team

As a Project Engineer Broadband with us, you will:

• Project and prepare broadband projects - from customer connections to investments and maintenance.
• Meet customers and partners in the field and in the office, and create solutions that make a difference for Umeå residents.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure quality, work environment and cost efficiency in our projects.

To succeed in the role, you need: 

• Three-year upper secondary school and preferably with a technical focus or interest in the field
• B driving license manual
• Ability to take responsibility, plan and organize.
• Ability to work independently and take business responsibility to complete your projects that you own.
• Good collaboration skills and willingness to develop
• Initiative and ability to contribute to improvement work
• Understanding of work environment issues and project follow-up.

It is a plus if you also have:

• Post-secondary education in engineering or project management.
• Experience in the design and construction of fiber optic networks.
• Knowledge of Robust Fiber.
• Experience in construction law and managing construction work.
