We have a shared strategy for education in our municipality: to create a cohesive educational pathway that contributes to greater equity, improved academic outcomes, and attractive educational opportunities. Here, all children, youth, and adults should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and develop their knowledge and skills. We know that this relies on dedicated, knowledgeable, and professional staff who provide high-quality instruction. We make a difference every day and are proud of our mission. We have Sweden’s most important job—our mission is to instill hope for the future in young people.

Böleängsskolan is a preschool through 6th-grade school with approximately 415 students in preschool, grades 1–6, and after-school care. The school is located in a residential neighborhood about 3 km from downtown Umeå, with a large schoolyard and close proximity to a park, forest, and river. The ability to collaborate is one of the most important skills for the future and a prerequisite for students to learn as much as possible. We want to help our students develop the ability to collaborate and learn together with their peers, and everyone should be able to develop as far as possible based on their own individual circumstances. All students have the right to a positive learning environment; therefore, the school and after-school program offer structured and predictable instruction.

We are now looking for an after-school program teacher!
