At Mariehemsskolan, we work together to ensure that children and young people develop and grow up safely. Mariehemsskolan is a multicultural F-6 school with after-school care for around 230 pupils. Around 40% of the pupils are multilingual. We employ a special needs teacher and a special education teacher. The school has a well-functioning EHT team consisting of a counselor, school nurse, social worker, school psychologist and the special team. Employment information The position is a permanent position, full time, starting as soon as possible by agreement. Your work tasks Together with the rest of the team, you plan and work for a high-quality leisure activity based on the curriculum. Based on the student's individual needs, you stimulate meaningful activities both inside and outside. Collaboration with teachers and parents is an important part of the work. You will work in the team around year 3 with planning responsibility for the leisure section. About you You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents, have the ability to vary teaching and activities based on students' needs. You are a confident adult and a good role model who has the ability to connect with students, see each individual and create a good learning environment. You motivate students by allowing them to participate and make their own suggestions. You have good cooperation skills with colleagues and external parties. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Requirements Qualified teacher/applied for a teaching license with the right to teach in after-school programs Experience of working with younger children Valid extract from the criminal record Good knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing We look positively if you have knowledge / experience of low-effective treatment.
