Do you want to influence and shape the school of the future? Become our new Area Manager for Primary School F-6 South West! We are looking for an experienced and committed area manager for one of our three geographical areas with primary schools - area Southwest. In this role, you will be a key person in leading and developing school operations, with a focus on quality, finance and personnel management. The Pre- and Compulsory School Administration is responsible for preschool, preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school and after-school care in Umeå municipality. We are looking for you who want to lead the work towards a successful school! Your work tasks As an area manager, you are responsible for operations, staff and finances for one of a total of two school areas with a focus on F-6; area SydVäst. You manage the operations through principals at each school. The tasks may involve: Operational development: You are responsible for running and developing primary school operations through systematic quality work and continuous improvement. Leadership: You will lead and support headteachers in their work, ensuring they have the best conditions to create successful primary schools. Financial responsibility: You will be responsible for financial follow-up and will work towards a balanced budget in your area. Collaboration: You will contribute to a strong management organization and work closely with other area managers and management teams to create a coherent educational chain for children and pupils' learning. You will report to the Deputy Director of Education, Compulsory Education, and be part of the Pre- and Compulsory School Management Team. About you We are looking for you who have a university degree in education and solid experience of leadership and management in primary schools, preferably in F-6. You have also completed the state principal program. If you have also held a leadership position for managers, it is good. You also have experience in leading change and delivering good results in a large complex knowledge organization. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and abilities.
