Elderly care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. The care home Sjöjungfrun is located at Tomtebo at the southern tip of Lake Nydala, about 6 km from the center of Umeå. The home has 47 apartments spread over three floors. Each floor has two departments with 8 apartments per department. With us there are very good opportunities for outdoor recreation. In addition to the proximity to Lake Nydala, we have balconies, patios and a common courtyard that encourages spending time outdoors. One of our greatest strengths is our dedicated and close-knit staff team. Together we work to create a home-like and safe environment for residents. Our staff team is made up of people of different ages, backgrounds, experience and skills - a combination that really strengthens our collaboration. We are now looking forward to welcoming a new assistant nurse to the team! Your tasks With a professional approach and good treatment, you assist our residents. The resident's co-determination is in focus and you help to ensure that efforts are carried out, with good quality, according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. You will assist with care, personal hygiene, food and other services. The tasks also include documentation of measures and health status as well as medical tasks based on delegation by the nurse in charge. Working hours are at night. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse who has experience of night work in healthcare, preferably in elderly care. You are responsible and want to contribute to a high-quality business by being professional and accommodating to both residents, colleagues and other professions and to some extent also relatives. You are empathetic, humble, cooperative and a good team player. You are constructive and proactive and can work independently. We attach great importance to personal suitability. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain probe/medicine delegation, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Smoking and furry animals may be present in the workplace, so you should not be allergic. Heavy lifting is involved, assistive devices must be used.
