We are the unit that handles all care services where our users live in their own homes in Umeå municipality. Most of our staff are assistant nurses who we continuously train. The home care service is also responsible for responding to and handling social alarms that occur at night. We are now looking for assistant nurses and nursing staff for Ersboda and Finnish home care! Your work tasks We are looking for you who, with good treatment and a professional approach, support our elderly in their everyday lives. The tasks include personal care, transfers, meal support, cleaning and medication management. Our goal is to enable the elderly to live in their own home for as long as possible, based on their own wishes. The work is carried out according to the current assistance decision and implementation plan, with the individual's participation and self-determination at the center, to ensure good quality efforts. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening and weekend. About you For the position of assistant nurse, we are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse and have experience of working in elderly care. We would like you to have experience of working in home care. For the positions as nursing staff, we are looking for you who have experience of working in elderly care. We are looking positively if you have a nursing education and/or experience in home care. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and receive medication, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. As the services are part of the Finnish home care service, we would like you to have knowledge of the Finnish language. A B-driving license is required for all positions.
