On Mariehemsvägen you will find Umeå Norra short-term center, where the majority of the elderly care's short-term places are gathered. We opened our doors in the autumn of 2020 and specialize in recovery and everyday rehabilitation. Our activities are designed to strengthen our residents' ability to live in their own homes for as long as possible. We are looking for an assistant nurse with education and experience who wants to make a difference. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in modern premises with 64 apartments spread over four floors. We also have a gym adapted for rehabilitation and a visiting room with cozy decor and access to a patio. Your tasks Care needs vary and we work in a person-centered way to help individuals based on their different conditions. Common tasks include personal care and hygiene in the resident's room. We see what is healthy in the person and help to preserve the abilities that exist. The duties of an assistant nurse also include documenting actions and health conditions. You work on the basis of your role as a contact person, where the resident's participation is the focus. In this way, you ensure that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse and have experience of working in elderly care with the seriously ill. We would like you to have experience of dementia care. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You show great commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive.
