At Umeå Norra short-term center on Mariehemsvägen, we work with recovery and everyday rehabilitation. Our activities are designed to give each resident the best possible support to regain their abilities and be able to live at home for as long as possible. You will work in bright and modern premises with 64 apartments spread over four floors. Here you will find a working environment that promotes both well-being and development - a rehabilitation-adapted gym, a cozy visitor's room and a lush patio for recovery and socializing. Your work tasks As an assistant nurse with us, you are an important part of each resident's recovery. We work person-centered and see the healthy in the individual - with a focus on preserving and strengthening the abilities that exist. Your duties include, among other things: Personal care and hygiene Documentation of actions and health status Contact person assignment where the resident's participation is at the center You work closely with colleagues, nurses and rehabilitation staff to ensure high quality care. Assistive devices are always used when transfers and lifting are involved. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse and have experience of working in elderly care, preferably with a focus on the seriously ill or people with dementia. You have: Preferably experience of medication administration Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing Ability to document according to current procedures Empathy, sensitivity and a genuine commitment to people You thrive in a role where you can take responsibility, collaborate and contribute with ideas that make a difference. As we are a short-term care home, you will also be in contact with various authorities, which requires structure and careful documentation.
